Food + Photos = Fottocini.
Fottocini.com is an online resource for chefs, cooks, farmers, students, and all culinary professionals.
I encourage you to share information about the ingredients you use, what’s on your menu, or simply post a photo of your favorite dish.
Also for photographers, food writers, foodies…or just anyone who loves food. Feel free to join!
This project was developed by William Torrillo, and is operated out of St. Simon’s Island, Georgia. Please note all of the plated food photos on this site are edible, guest ready dishes. I like to eat after I work!
William provides all of the photos and articles you see on fottocini (unless credited otherwise), he is also trained chef and graphic artist.
More about William: Staff Photographer at Sea Island Resorts since 2006.
William graduated from Johnson and Wales University in 2004 and has worked with talented chefs from all over the world. He spent 4 years at the Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, starting out in the main kitchen, banquets, and the pastry kitchen, finally part of the opening team in the signature restaurant Cioppino. In 2005, Cioppino earned a spot on Esquire Magazine’s Best New Restaurants in 2005, by John Mariani.
He has also worked at the Mandarin Oriental, The Biltmore, The Delano, and the Morgan’s Hotel Group, and several South Beach Wine and Food Festivals. William still cooks for friends and family, and is working closely with Chef Roberto Leoci in Savannah, Georgia, where they offer a special Wednesday night invitation only wine dinner.
The passion for food, the hunger for culinary knowledge, and the time spent behind the line with fellow chefs, is the heart and soul of Fottocini.
